The recording engineer is the unsung hero of the music business.  The artist (and sometimes even the producer) get all the glory, but it's the engineer that is behind the scenes making them look good.

During his years as the Chief Engineer at NightBird Studios in West Hollywood, CA, Steve was able to be behind the scenes for some life-changing musical experiences.  It's amazing what you can learn from "being in the room" with the top music talent in the world, and Steve has made the most of his opportunities. 

While he spends most of his time these days producing, mixing, mastering or songwriting, Steve still works occasionally as a freelance engineer.
